Our country has such a small tourism destination that recording change, transformation, and growth is not difficult.
However, for the three factors mentioned above to have an impact on the tourism economy, the visionary perspective of opinion leaders who are directly involved in the sector is of critical importance throughout the process.
An increase in facilities and accommodation activities—both of which are indispensable to our tourism sector—combined with listing the most important issues that our sector must find solutions for in 2026, would allow the implementation of a sound methodology. Unfortunately, in 2025, our tourism sector was unable to reach the expected number of tourists and occupancy rates.
