Lecturer Beste Candar completed her undergraduate studies in Gastronomy at Girne American University in 2023. She works at the University of Mediterranean Karpasia. Alongside her academic work, Candar is also active in the sector, serving as a Board Member and Chair of the Disciplinary Board of the Turkish Cypriot Cooks and Chefs Association. She has also been awarded a decoration and a medal by the association.
