Information About the Program
The Master’s programme in Accounting and Finance aims to educate students who can do research, anaylse and develop projects that will contribute to the field, who can produce and disseminate information, who can monitor national and international studies made in its own field, and also the programme aims to train interdisciplinary, qualified, equipped academicians and researchers.
In this context, it is aimed to develop the skill of the students to acquire the necessary skills, technical knowledge and competencies as well as other skills required by the company environment and to collect, analyze and strategically evaluate the skills.
Why Accounting and Finance Program?
The need for qualified and knowledgeable staff is increasing day by day in the increasing accounting sector in the world. In the recent past, the sector had to employ staff who had received different training because of the lack of qualified personnel. The Master’s programme in Accounting and Finance of the University of the Mediterranean Karpasia has been prepared and planned to meet these requirements in the field.
Career opportunities
Graduates of the program will be able to work with any kind of financial institutions, especially banks and accounting firms, also they can open their own accounting companies if they wish. Our Master’s degree programs will also serve as a bridge between undergraduate and doctoral programs in Accounting for graduate students who wish to continue their studies as researchers and academicians while continuing their Ph.D.
