The aim of the program is to train Ground Services Technicians who will be able to minimize the total risks of the ground services. For the aircrafts which will take off and land, the Ground Services Technicians who graduates from our programs are equipped with the knowledge and practical skills to organize the movements with the necessary security precautions and they know the ways and methods to be followed in connection with airline companies and air traffic control.

As the civil aviation sector continues to develop extraordinarily in our country, our region and in the world, qualified personnel needs of the sector grows in parallel. The essential role to be the international in aviation sector is to affect the quality of the ground services management within the framework of international standards by triggering the development of ground services management.

In the aviation sector where there is intense competition, there is need for versatile managers who can think conceptually, can respond quickly and at the same time who are good at the activities in operational level. For meeting theses needs, Ground Services Program in Aviation has objective to train professionals who will work in ground services in airports and in the management of enterprises in aviation ground services sector.

Ground services personnel in general are responsible for providing flight safety by coordinating the operation of aircrafts in the ground, and from the check in of the passengers until they get on the plane, to complete passport and ticket controls and luggage procedures and to make sure that procedures are completed according to the international rules and company standards.
